INTERNATIONAL MEN’S DAY 2023

INTERNATIONAL MEN’S DAY-

INTERNATIONAL MEN'S DAY

Let’s talk about something important – the heavy load of expectations that men often have to carry. It’s like having a backpack full of things society thinks they should be, and it’s not always easy for them.

From when they’re little, boys hear that they should be tough, strong, and successful and these expectations can be like a big, heavy weight, making it hard for them to just be themselves.

One big expectation is about being super strong. It’s like they’re supposed to handle everything without showing when things get tough.

Another heavy load comes from the idea that guys have to be super successful in their careers. It’s like they’re expected to be the main providers for their families, and that pressure can be a lot to handle.

And then there’s the pressure to always be self-reliant – to never ask for help and handle everything on their own. This can make it lonely when guys are going through tough times.

We need to lift the weight of expectations and let men out there breathe a little easier.

In recognizing and appreciating their emotions, we grant them the freedom to navigate the spectrum of human experience authentically.

In our big world, we sometimes forget something important – that men too have feelings, just like everyone else. We often expect them to be super strong and tough, but underneath, they feel things deeply.

they’re supposed to be tough and not show their emotions too much. This idea sticks around as they grow up, making it hard for them to express what they’re really feeling.

But here’s the thing: men should be able to share their feelings without feeling like it’s not okay. Everyone deserves to be understood and supported, no matter their gender. When we talk about equality it also mean letting all of us to be comfortable and being ourselves and able to share their stories.

In relationships, men might feel like they have to be strong all the time. But that’s not fair. Everyone should be able to be themselves, even if that means showing some vulnerability.

It’s time to change things. We should create a world where guys feel safe talking about how they feel – happy, sad, or anything in between. Showing emotions isn’t a sign of being weak; it’s a sign of being real.

Dear Awesome men

A big “Thank You” for all that you do. Your hard work, support, and kindness often fly under the radar, but I see it, and I appreciate it.

In a world that might not always notice, you stand strong, making a difference in the background. You’re like the superheroes working behind the scenes.

Thank you for being there through thick and thin, for being the strong, reliable friends, brothers, fathers, and partners. Your efforts may not always get the spotlight, but they don’t go unnoticed.

I also want to say thanks for being real, for showing your feelings even when the world might expect you to be tough all the time. It takes courage to be vulnerable.

So, here’s to you – the unsung heroes. Your hard work, kindness, and authenticity make the world a better place.

THANKYOU

Girls are weighed down by restrictions, boys with demands – two equally harmful disciplines.
