Rs100 Per Litre Fuel Subsidy: How Much Can You Receive?

The headline number in Pakistan’s 2026 fuel relief scheme is simple — Rs100 off every litre of petrol. What actually lands in your pocket depends on what you drive, since the monthly litre cap changes by vehicle type.

The Math, By Vehicle

Motorcycles and three-wheelers get Rs100/litre on up to 20 litres a month. That caps out at Rs2,000 in monthly relief.

Cars up to 800cc get the same Rs100/litre, but on up to 30 litres a month — a ceiling of Rs3,000.

Either way, the discount comes off at the pump. There’s no separate cash payout — you hand over the token, the attendant applies the discount, and you pay the reduced price directly.

Per-Token Savings

You don’t draw down your full monthly allowance in one trip. Fuel comes through tokens, and each token has a fixed size:

  • A motorcycle or three-wheeler token covers 5 litres → Rs500 saved per token
  • A car token covers 10 litres → Rs1,000 saved per token

So a motorcycle rider hits their full Rs2,000 monthly cap across four tokens (5 litres × 4 = 20 litres). A car owner reaches their Rs3,000 cap across three tokens (10 litres × 3 = 30 litres).

Token Validity — Don’t Let One Expire

Tokens don’t last forever, and an unused one doesn’t roll over:

  • Motorcycle/three-wheeler tokens: valid for 7 days
  • Car tokens: valid for 10 days

If you generate a token and don’t use it in time, you’ll need to request a new one before you can buy subsidised fuel again.

Who Can Actually Claim It

The subsidy isn’t open to every vehicle on the road. It’s restricted to:

  • Motorcycles and three-wheelers registered on or after January 1, 2011
  • Cars up to 800cc registered on or after January 1, 2006

Anything outside those cutoffs — or above 800cc — doesn’t qualify, regardless of how the vehicle is otherwise used.

Getting to the Rs100/litre Rate

There’s no separate application for the discount itself — it’s tied to the same registration and token system. Text your CNIC and vehicle details to 9771 to register, then text TOK whenever you need fuel. The token you get back is what unlocks the Rs100/litre rate at participating stations.

Redemption is already running in Islamabad and goes live nationwide, including AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan, at 11:59pm on September 16, 2026. Full details are at pmfuelrelief.pk.
